You totally win a shiny new interweb, Tobey. Pixels are haaaard, in my experiance.
Zepher should definately be in the picture - can you put her on the porch, leaning on one of the railings? If you have the ambition, you can put Eric and Bea in too, but it's Zepher I really want to be sure gets in.

If I expected you to make my changes pixel by pixel, my red line would have been a LOT cleaner.
I never expected that.
I don't need to see it again. I'm sure it'll be perfect!

I figured no picture of the House would be complete without Zepher. I can do that, but like I told Noface about Aerial, that would mean that Zepher will be smaller due to perspective (I was planning to put the majority of characters on the front lawn, where they're closer to the front). It seems to me that the founder of the House maybe ought to be in the foreground; but on the other hand, I do like the idea of her leaning on the railing a lot. Well, whichever way you want, I will draw. And of course I'm gonna draw Eric, at the very least. Let's just make sure to confiscate Souleh's superglue first. Oh, and what's an 'interweb'? It might be nice to know what this shiny thing is that I just won. Oy, Kitty, way to put the pressure on me.

Either way. That was the best pose I could think of that wasn't just standing around randomly, but if you want to put her closer to the front, that's fine, too.

Because I'm ADD, I like to work on multiple projects at once when I draw. Therefore, even though I'm nowhere near finished with Guadalupe yet, I now have done a rough outline for my next victim subject. Aerial! Rough sketch of AerialUm, I didn't know how long to make his hair, so I just took a rough guess. Hair is /really/ easy to fix, so if you want it longer or shorter, just say so. And I promise his wings will look less like flippers after they're all shaded and textured. Also, Aerial's description says his hair is 'bluish.' Bluish what? Bluish blonde? Bluish black? I'm guessing bluish black, but I thought I should probably make sure. Also, just so people know, Adrian is next on my list of characters, and then Zepher.

His hair is bluish...white I guess. Other than that it's nearly perfect. I'm nitpicking but not severely so. He just looks a little startled. If that could be fixed I'd be happy. His hair and everything else is fine.
I've never had someone draw my characters before! This is exciting for me!

You're right, he does look startled. I can't really tell what it is that's making him look that way, though. It's not his expression, and I can't pinpoint anything 'startled' about his pose. Hmm, well, if I figure out the problem, I'll see what I can do to fix it.
It's exciting for me, too; I've never drawn anyone else's characters before.

I guess I lied when I said I was 'nowhere near finished with Guadalupe.' She went a lot faster than I expected (or maybe it's just the fact that putting off studying is a powerful motivator). Anyway, here's Guadalupe! Once again, if there's anything wrong, tell me so.

Yay! Glad you like her, Kitty. Sorry about the slight hiatus on my posts and arts. I was working on a piece for an art contest where entries end tomorrow, so I wanted to get that done on time. FYI, it was the first art contest I've ever entered, and it's being run by the Two Moons webcomic. The 25th is DNA day, so the contest is DNA-themed. Anyway, I've got a (very rough) sketch of Adrian done. Adrian outlineI'm not too happy with the wings, so I'll probably fine-tune their outline as I shade. I'm still trying to decide whether I'm happy with the feet or not. I realize that his pose is probably not what you had in mind when you said 'crossed arms,' but in my efforts to make him not look like Severus Snape, he wound up with the expression you see on him now, and that wasn't going to work with the standard 'crossed arms' pose. So I got creative. Oh, and Noface? On a scale of one to ten, how disappointed would you be if I decided not to fix Aerial's startled look before I shade him? I've been trying to pinpoint his problem for a while now, and the more I stare at him to try to figure it out, the more he starts to not look startled anymore. He alternately looks startled or just gargoyle-ish. If you can pinpoint it, I'd be glad for the input, but otherwise, I don't know what to do. And I don't really want to start completely over, because I am generally happy with his pose. And of course, we could always say he's startled because he didn't get the memo that it was picture day that day.

You know Tobey, I think you're right. He doesn't actually look startled when you look at him long enough. And the more I did try and figure what was off I kind of realized that it was close to perfect and I may be crushed if he was changed. So I say leave him as is.
Also I once again forgot that Adrian and Aerial are two different people. So I got all confused for a second. Aerial's real name is supposed to be Adrian but the name was taken so I made it Apollo instead. I forget that all the time!

I finished Zepher's outline! And Lunar, you get choices. Do you prefer: Zepher 1 or Zepher 2? Oh the difference a single pixel can make! I wanted her to be smiling, but I think she looks kinda drunk in the smiling picture. Not as drunk as she did at one point, though. You need to tell her to act in character when people are trying to draw her. Anyway, up next is Zim's Kat (even though Zim hasn't been active; I just said I'd draw active people's characters /first/). Then it's round two! Which is Gabriel, Argentine, Repete, and Eric. All boys, I noticed. And also, could I ask a favor, Lunar? Could you maybe sticky this thread? I want it to remain visible to people in the future, so that new characters and new members' characters can have the opportunity to be added to the group picture. There should be a post requirement, though, so people can't just join, request a character, and leave. Maybe fifty posts? EDIT: I have a few ideas for Kat's pose (all of them in her full-tiger form, because cats are nifty-sweet pose-wise). -Rubbing up against something/someone (someone else would probably have to volunteer their character for Kat to rub her face against, since the only other thing is the railings on the House, and that would be much harder for me to pull off) -Getting ready to pounce on something in the grass -After she's pounced, and she's holding whatever it is she caught under her paws as she sniffs at it -Yawning and stretching (this encompasses two poses, since cats have that little two part stretch) I did some wireframes so I could see what each pose might look like. The wireframes are in the same order as I listed the poses above. And of course, the final picture may or may not be a side-view.

I've been /trying/ to be active, I swear! I rewrote a post 3 times before I kind of... gave up on it... (-sigh-). Innywho, YES! Is Kat's turn :D I like the first two ideas the most- I think she would snuggle Eric the mostest.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you were lazy. And I'll wait for Lunar's input regarding Eric to decide which of those two poses to use. Anyway, a little off-topic, but that picture I told you guys about earlier is up on the Two Moons site! This year's DNA day contest entries are clear at the bottom of the main page. And, by the way, you guys should all read the Two Moons comic. It's a serious, but awesomely-plot-irific comic that happens to be right up our alley; genetic manipulation is one of the big themes in Two Moons.

I like the first Zepher better, actually. I don't think she looks drunk, and I agree, she should be smiling.
And yes, I think it's a great idea to have Kat rubbing up against Eric.

Noface, I haven't forgotten Aerial. To prove it, here he is. AerialThe reason he took so long was because the last time I drew a feathered wing with pixels was back before I had any clue what I was doing. So it took a while to get his wings to look right, since I had to re-learn everything I knew about pixellated wings. Hopefully, future winged residents will go faster, now that I (theoretically) know what I'm doing. Anyway, as usual, point out anything that could be made better.

You sure? Because colors are about the easiest things in the world to fix. If you happen to come across, say, a Pokemon that has a color you like better, just let me know.
Glad you like him! ^^
Thanks, Zim. Wings happen to be one of the few things I actually know how to draw on paper, so that helped me out a bit with making wings in pixels.
