Maybe we could cure the common cold if we unstuck it.
Hm...

Sure. Keep on believing that, Zim.
Yes, tuna is dead. It was once a live swimming fish, but now it is dead meat in your sandwich.

Kat: O.O; NO I'M PERFECT I SWEAR!!
Gawsh, why must I have my dad's music stuck in my HEAD.
And the visuals that go with it aren't pretty.

No, you're not. At all. To quote, "Nasty kitty."
What do you mean, the visuals aren't pretty?

Maybe no one's ever really bothered? Maybe it's blocked by a bunch of stuff in the hallway, and because no one can actually see said stuff, they assume it's just stuck? Or maybe, it's just too much stuff for one person to move, and no one's ever bothered to team up with someone? Or maybe it just doesn't make sense. They probably assumed it was just a closet door and didn't feel like exerting the energy to break it down.

I like the stuff-blocking-the-door hypothesis. And I like Kitty's idea, too. So maybe, the reason why they're finally opening the door /now/ is because somebody somehow figured out that it /isn't/ a closet door.
Maybe Buffy could phase through it and take a look around. And then be like, "OMG guys check it out, there's more House in here!" Probably not in those exact words, of course.

YES. YOU ARE BOTH GENIUSES. WE ARE ALL GENIUSES HERE.
Also, the "there's more House in here" line cracks me up. For no apparent reason.

Or, as an alternate idea, maybe Buffy knew about the cut-off part of the House all along, but decided to keep it to herself until now. I think that seems more likely, somehow. Zim, what do you think?
Huh. Just realized something. If it's to be blocked with stuff in the hallway on the other side, it would have to open inwards, right? Very few closet doors open inwards. So maybe all this time they've been thinking it's a closet door, they've been trying to open it the wrong way. ;D And hey, maybe that could be what tips someone off that it isn't a closet; they could notice the doorframe, meaning that it opens inwards, and be like "You know what? Either someone was really dumb when they designed that closet, or it's not a closet." And then, either A) they could have Buffy check it out and she finds out that it's not a closet, or B) she could wander by and be like, "Well duh it's not a closet." Or maybe even C) if Zim doesn't want Buffy to have to get involved (because she ought to have a choice in the matter, after all), the person who noticed the door's un-closet-like tendencies could be curious enough to just rally the troups and bust through the door.
Okay, so who at the House is detail-oriented enough to notice the oddities of a closet door? Out of my characters, I think Tonya is the only one. And I can't picture her 'rallying the troups,' no matter how curious she is.

Ooooh.
Adri does detail. He lectured Buffy on it, after all.

I was actually kind of thinking of Adrian. But would he be willing to ask for help to open it?
Wait. Come to think of it, he might be powerful enough to open the door on his own; after all, wouldn't there be a heck of a lot of lovely darkness in the abandoned part of the House that he could draw upon? Can his powers work through walls?

Hn. This is why you guys are great.
Okay, I don't really care if Buffy gets involved. I can see her thinking that it was obvious, and not telling anyone, thus option B :3

As for asking for help, prolly not, unless he noted it when he was around one of the (very few) people he trusts and just sort of pointed it out and the person /volunteered/.
The power thing is prolly more likely. 'Cause yes, his powers can work through walls. And he might be curious enough to come back later that night after noticing it when he's A. at his strongest, and B. fairly certain that there's less of a chance of someone wandering over and watching him. Explore a little, see what's going on. Then leave the door open so that people know about it, but he doesn't actually have to tell and/or explain. Or just tell Zepher that by the way he opened up the other half of the House. Depending on his mood.

You are all awesome. All of you. I bask in your awesomeness. I think either one of the Buffy methods or the Adrian methods would be great.

Erm, Buffy could be there maybe? But Souleh's posts are prettier, so me thinks she should use Adrian ^^

If I were buttering you up it be much more melodramatic, believe me.
