The palm-top computer is really top of the line, with a fold-out keyboard and a wireless Internet connection and everything. Of course, Bea could never show it to anyone here; it doesn't fit at all with her cover story, and is only used to report back to the lab.
After all, that's why she's here, isn't it?
((Also, a note - Bea will regularly butcher the spellings of everyone's names. I'd like to make it clear that those errors are Bea's, not mine. She's just putting them down the way she hears them.))

I've made it. Not met many people yet; havn't seen any of the ones you asked me to look for. I don't think you should worry yet, though - I havn't even properly moved in. Actually, I'm writing from a bathroom... I don't know where else I can be private enough to write, yet.
The one resident I have really met is a lion-splice by the name of Daab - aparently, she's a reletively new arrival, herself. Or something... I havn't had a chance to really ask about her. I don't know what lab she's from.

You've gotta get me out of here. You've gotta. /She's/ here. Dr. Christina Payne. No one said /she'd/ be here. I want out.

Slow down, Bea. I can't help you if you won't tell me exactly what the situation is. Consider the following, then tell me if you really want out:
In what function is she there? (I've heard rumors, Bea - she's dropped quite suddenly out of the picture. Supposedly, it's because something went wrong at one of her labs - again - and she's now on the run. Is she there as a fugitive, or as a threat?)
Has she recognized you? If she has, has she made any threats toward you?
Are the others aware of who and what she is?
Please remember, Bea, if we have to pull you out, we may not be able to get another agent in. Would you consider staying at least long enough to identify one or more of the other spys we know are there?

Sorry I panicked, Doc. The others seem oblivious - I don't think it would be right to leave them when they don't know. She didn't seem to recognize me - though I may have given myself away by my reaction.
On a more report-y note, I have met some others: There's a little winged-tiger-shapeshifter, about 7 or 8, name of Cat (I think that's what they called her). Do we have a file on her, yet?
Also, a girl claiming to be Guadalupe Harrison. I saw her use what looked like Charisma on Cat, so I think she's the real thing.
Finally, one of the most extreme splices I've ever seen. She's in her teens, and looks for all the world like a dragon. I noticed a silvery collar - looked like it might be an identification or restraint of some kind. Sound at all familiar to you?

I've moved in. No one seems suspicious, at all, yet. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. I haven't been able to identify any other spys, though. If you have any idea what I should be looking for, please, please, please give me a hint.
I had to room with someone - there's at least one person in every room, as far as I can tell. Well, there might be an open room on the third floor, but that seems to be where all the boys stay. So... lessee... There's one or two people in every room, three in a few rooms, six rooms to a floor, two floors of rooms... I'd estimate there's between fifteen and twenty people who at least sleep here part of the time, maybe more. My room mate is a girl by the name of Jordan, goes by Echo. An involuntary shapeshifter - whoever she touches, she turns into. I'm not sure if she can shift back to her original form afterwards.

About that dragon composit you told me about earlier - I finally figured out where I'd seen that silver collar before. It's a trademark of a scientist named Damien - usually serves as his means of control on his more dangerous projects. Assuming he hasn't planted her there, it's most likely non-functional. I'd suggest you be careful around her.

Thanks for the heads up on Airy. She doesn't seem agressive, but I suppose it's best to err on the side of caution.
I've met a few more. Alan's a predatory bird splice. He gave me a bit of a start, but he also seems quite friendly. Apparently, he's been living on his own, away from the house for some time now.
And there's also Amy. I havn't gotten to know her well, yet - the only time I've met her, I was trying to keep the rat from making me run away from Alan. She's definately a fugitive, but I don't think she knows exactly what from. She looks completely normal. -B.
