"Hmmm..." Leah muttered, her eyes scanning the backyard. Her eyes went over the hedges, looking for large holes before pulling down her hood and taking off her hoodie. As the jacket fell to the ground beside her, she stretched, twitching her ears and moving her tail around. Her tail brushed the door behind her as it went down, relaxing as it went down. That little movement felt so good, her tail had been stuffed up inside that jacket along with her ears uder the hood - it felt as if they had been cooped up ever since they had been stuffed in the garment before Leah came outside. She rolled playfully around on the ground; since her DNA had been enfused with a wolf's, she picked up a lot of the habits of a wolf. She started running, loving the feeling of the wind. Loosening her tie, it flapped noisily around her neck. She jumped around, ran in circles, and chased her tail, even. For once, she was relieved. She didn't feel that she had to hide herself.
She soon started thinking about her past as she sat down like a dog, her tail trailing along the ground from side to side. She thought about her father, and how she was hopng to find him. But she started thinking about how normal people treated her and other people like her. Saddened by this, her ears fell with her mood and her tail stopped wagging. What if...he rejects me? Like the rest of society? I'm still his daughter, though..He'd do something.
Her stomach rumbled noisily. Putting a hand over the area, she stood up, heading back to the house. She grabbed the discarded jacket and swung the door open. She walked into the kitched, grabbing the handles to the fridge, she opened up the shiny double doors. Leah stood there for a few minutes, scanning the contents. Taking out a few things, she whipped up a quick sandwich, munching on it quietly. Closing the doors in a swift movement, she went into the living room, turning on the tv and settling onto the couch. She patted her stomach contentedly, smiling and flipping throught the channels until she settled on one of those old, cheesy movies.
