Zepher was sick and tired of being the apparent leader of a group of people she wasn't sure she'd recognize on the street. The fact that they all lived in the same house just added insult to injury. So, after quite some time of putting it off, trying to think of an alternative, and just generally angsting about not being sure she even wanted to be any kind of leader, she'd done the one thing she could think of doing. She'd called a meeting. Left a notice ( afterthelab.proboards37.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=postit&thread=1176937425) on the bulletin board, too. Now, she was staring to wonder if anyone would actually show up. Well, Eric was here, but then, he practically followed her around anyway. He'd brought a box of dominoes, and was currently setting them up in long, curving lines on the carpet. "You will put those away when people start showing up, won't you?" she asked, from where she sat on the couch with her feet tucked up under her. Eric sighed, and pushed the first domino over. "Of course, Joan," he assured her, over the clatter of falling plastic rectangles. "Don't worry." Of course, his making a mess in the already messy living room was th least of Zepher's worries, but there was no point telling him that.

“I just don’t think that’s a responsible solution.” Gabriel’s voice cut through the practically empty living room from the staircase. His footfalls fell in synch to another set of slightly off-gait steps. “It’s a personally reasonable option.” Guadalupe’s tone was stern as she added her input to the conversation at hand. She seemed engaged, but her sternness expressed her intense displeasure. “Guadalupe, be reasonable.” Gabriel’s voice was next, calm, and yet tinged with a slightly frustrated edge. Guadalupe emerged from the stairwell, her eyes flashing with frustration at her adult friend. He seemed to be pulling her ideas down, and Guadalupe was dead-set on this idea. She was actually excited about it. How dare Gabriel tell her no?
“Guadalupe, I don’t think it is.” Gabriel replied in his calmness. He had made it down the stairs now, too. Gabriel had noticed the slight color change in Guadalupe’s eyes, and he was watching what she said carefully. Of course, Gabriel could feel the energy radiating off of Guadalupe’s form, and he could detect the way she was trying to influence him. He blocked her carefully. Still, he was trying to manipulate the manipulator out of an option he had decided void not too long ago. Guadalupe glared at Gabriel as she walked into the living room. “Hello, Eric and Zepher. How are you two?” She asked. Her tone, although not directed at them, was a bit cold and almost venomous. Obviously, the snippet of conversation from the stairs was not the entirety, and that far more had happened before the decent down the stairs. Guadalupe dropped down next to Eric, folding one of her legs into her form, and leaving her other leg outstretched. Her damaged knee did not like being folded at such angles. “Domanos?” She questioned, her tone actually a bit lighter than before. She had not seen someone playing that game in a long, long time. She did not even know how to play herself.
Gabriel positioned himself onto the couch. He flashed a smile towards Zepher and Eric before sitting down. “Hello.” He also greeted. Guadalupe did not even meet Gabriel’s eyes.
((DISCONTENT! They’re fiiiighting. It’s exciting. Anyway, this post rots balls, but I was really, really, really, really rushed. I’m sorry for the crappiness. I’m not sure it could have been worse.))

Deltar had seen the notice in the kitchen earlier that day, and, not knowing exactly when 'evening' was, wasn't sure when to show up. So he was already hanging out in the living room, reading a book. In Search of Schroedinger's Cat: Quantum Physics and Reality, to be specific. He held the book in his lower pair of hands, turning the pages with his upper hands. It was an excellent book; apparently humans weren't as inferior as Deltar had thought, to have come up with all these ideas about quantum physics and additional dimensions. A few of the details were wrong, but most of the basic concepts were more or less correct. And it was interesting to see the analogies that humans used to make such concepts easier to understand. Deltar particularly liked the idea of the H-bar, a fictional restaurant where the quantum laws of atoms applied in the much larger world of humans; that's what he was reading about now.
Absorbed in his book, the opabinia splice didn't notice Zepher and Eric come in, and he was sitting in a chair such that they probably wouldn't have seen him from the angle they were at. The sound of falling dominoes caught his attention, however, and he turned around to peek around the back of his chair. Seeing Zepher and Eric, he put his book mark in the book and closed it, getting up from his seat and putting the book down on the chair he had been sitting in.
However, he didn't have time to say anything before he heard the voices of Guadalupe and Gabriel arguing. Not wanting to interrupt, he waited for their dispute to at least temporarily cease before he said, "Greetings, all. Is the meeting soon to commence?" He turned to the two newcomers and asked curiously, "What is it of which you are arguing the reasonability?"
((My other characters are coming, too, but I just didn't want to bring them all in in one post. I think I'll even make Tonya and Christina come, even though they aren't exactly happy about it.))

Argent, accompanied by his usual saunter and vacant expression, made his way into the living room. It was a good thing he fancied food so much, otherwise he probably wouldn’t have even noticed that there was supposed to be a meeting. He was ever so slightly apprehensive about going since he knew nobody really. It was odd, walking into a room and not knowing anyone and knowing that they were all looking at him and trying to figure out if they knew him. And all those thoughts he would be forced to listen to. He could only imagine the headache he would receive.
The boy descended the stairs not long after Guadalupe and the psychiatrist. It was funny how some bit of personal information was always at the top of people’s minds. He didn’t pay very much attention to their argument, already trying to block out thoughts since he knew the merciless onslaught would come soon. There were three other minds in the living room. One he recognized as Eric the other two he tried to ignore.
He flopped himself seemingly careless onto a loveseat across the room from where Zepher sat. He wasn’t really as relaxed as he looked and he didn’t bother trying to hide it. Argentine was extremely uncomfortable with being in a room with so few people and so many eyes that could potentially turn towards him. Especially the ones that seemed to be attached to…an alien? Argent turned his eyes away and watched Eric play with the dominos instead.
((Aerial at least will be added but late because he's spacy. Lia I'm not so sure about))

Humming something he couldn't particularly identify, Adrian entered from the kitchen, one last grape held in his right hand for when he felt like interrupting his humming. He slowed his fairly determined pace just enough to be able to scan the entire room before he was more than a few steps into the living room, making a mental note of all those present, his nose wrinkling just barely upon adding Gabriel to his list. His gaze lingered on Deltar longest, drifting down to the book, curious, and then immediately put off--science was not particularly Adrian's favorite subject matter.
He wondered briefly if he ought to greet them, never the most adept at such things, and finally decided it would win him points he might need to toss around if anyone brought something up during this...meeting. "Good evening, all." A nod accompanied the greeting, as he picked his way toward the couch, fully intending to take a seat.
Then he paused, frowned as it ocurred to him that he did not particularly want to be sharing a couch with Gabriel again. His path veered, and he ended up by the love seat Argentine had taken. Not knowing the other male, he scanned him quickly, still frowning, evaluating the threat. Shrugging, mostly to himself, he climbed onto the remaining space, careful to keep as much distance as possible between himself and the other, popping the grape into his mouth as soon as he was comfortably seated. Biting down just gently enough to puncture the skin, he sucked on the little red-purple sphere, quietly watching the boy he now sat next to carefully.
OoC: Repete will definitely be showing up soon, but I don't know about Aimee.

Julia stood around the corner arguing with Raph.
"Why don't we just go in? That way, we can meet everyone else that lives here, and we don't have to look like we just...appeared inside this home."
"What if they don't want us here?" Hissed Raph, realizing that he was going to loose the argument.
"What if they do want us here? Do you know of another place that we can go without drawing attention to yourself?!" She hissed back, which was unlike herself at all. "I'm going in." Julia said while turning on her heels.
"Wait. Wait, Julia! JULIA!" he hissed, but to no avail. "Wait up for me then!" he said as he turned into the room with his sister, and his only friend.
"Hello everyone. I am Julia, and this is Raphael, my twin." Julia announced into the room with a voice like ringing bells.
"Hey." Raphael gruffly said, as he took his place next to his sister, who was standing against the wall, watching.

Tarr slipped into the living room. He'd read the notice, and wondered if he'd be able to bring up his idea about scheduled chores. He hoped so. He noticed a few people he'd never met, and a couple who he had.
One pair seemed to be arguing, and he avoided them, not liking confrontation himself. One boy was quite, but seemed to be watching everything. Tarr blinked, and wondered what his story was, 'Probably something sad.' He thought, then spotted Adrian. He winced, and wondered if Adrian would ever forgive him for walking into his room that one time.
He saw Deltar finally and walked over to his chair. Unsure where else to sit, he just sat on the floor where he was.
"Hi-ya everyone." He said, a smile on his face. He turned to Deltar. "Whatch-ya reading?" He asked, figuring he might as well do something while they all wait for the meeting to actually be called to order, or whatever. He hoped they had a 'introduce yourself' segment. He didn't like not knowing people's names, even if he'd end up forgetting them, or getting them mixed up anyways.
((Well..I don't have any charras but Tarr...so ^..^ I guess he's the only one I get to have show up. ^..^ ))

Tonya was next to show up. After a while of considering whether or not to come to the meeting at all (the notice had made it sound like maybe it was optional), she decided to try to come early. Skipping the meeting would probably be frowned upon, and it was better to at least give herself time to acclimate to all the new people rather than just jumping in in the middle of it, right? As she came into the room, however, she saw that she had missed her chance. From how many people were already there, she guessed that she was late.
"Sorry I'm late," she mumbled as she took a seat on the floor a fair distance away from everyone else. Not that that made a difference; everyone in the room was still within her psychic range. But it at least made her feel a little better. She looked around for a familiar face, and finding none, stared up at the ceiling until the meeting was ready to start.
Deltar watched as more people filtered into the room, some of whom he recognized, some he didn't. Turning to see one of the more familiar faces in the room, Deltar answered Tarr, "I was reading In Search of Schroedingers Cat: Quantum Physics and Reality," the alien answered. "It is an interesting book, with some rather amusing metaphors for quantum physical concepts. The information is surprisingly accurate, considering-" He cut himself off, having been about to say 'considering it was written by humans,' but instead he said "considering that most of the concepts are purely theoretical from the author's perspective." It made Deltar a little nervous to think how close he had come to possibly seriously offending his company.
Dakota arrived a little while later. Having been out of the loop at the House for quite some time, there were plenty of new faces to see, but there were still some people she knew. She hadn't really been avoiding anyone on purpose, but she had been spending more time outside as the weather was warming up again. She came into the living room, her eyes scanning the crowd that was accumulating there. "Hello everyone," she greeted, as she walked over to an unused foot-rest, resting on her stomach on the soft cushion, as she usually did in place of sitting.

Argentine's gaze left the floor as somebody approached him. For a fleeting moment he was afraid the other boy was going to engage him in coversation. But he calmed as he realized this person was just sizing him up. What was odd though was that Argentine couldn't glean his name from him, even if he was trying. It seemed that this boy didn't think about his identity very often, or at least not in a conventional way. He didn't let his eyes linger but dropped it to the wall across the room.
There was a familiar shift in weight as the other boy sat down and unconsciously, Argentine adjusted his posture accordingly. He kept waiting for something to happen at this so-called house meeting but so far people were just arriving and milling about. Nothing of consiquence was going on. To keep himself busy, Argent decided he may as well practice meditation so that if the meeting ever did start he wouldn't pass out or anything. He took a couple subtle breaths and let his eyes go unfocused.
Aerial hadn't the faintest idea there was something going on. He just stumbled upon the living room to find a crowd of people standing there. Some of them looked like they had a purpose but most of them looked a little lost. Not as lost as he however, because he didn't even know what he was doing in the living room. The bird pulled his jeans jacket tighter around his wings and searched for a familiar face. Luckily, Tonya was there. He didn't know her very well but at least he knew her name.
Aerial made his way over to her and looked down at her face, peering upwards. "Hello," He said. He moved to sit next to her, a few feet off. He didn't want to make her nervous by sitting too close, "What is every body doing?"

Tarr smiled easily, completely missing Deltar's near slip. "That sound interesting, but probably not something I'd read." He admitted, his smile turning a bit sheepish. "I always read books more along the lines of fiction...is that fiction? The title sounds like one of those ambiguous ones." He shrugged. "Where it could be fiction, but it might be a study of something." He made sure to keep his voice soft. No point on yelling while in a crowd. It only drew attention to him.

Zepher nodded a greeting to each new arrival, still not entirely comfortable with this. It was too late to back out now, though. Eric, for his part, ignored most of them, though he did look up when Guadalupe spoke to him.
"Yeah. Well, kind of," he replied, scooping them up again and starting to set them on end once more. "I mean, I'm just setting them up and knocking them over; I'm not actually playing the real game." Apparently, he'd forgotten his promise to put them away.
In the confusion, Bea slipped into the room, quiet as, well, a mouse. Ok, a rat, but close enough, right? She wasn't sure she'd ever seen the living room so full - maybe at the Halloween party, months and months ago, but even then, it hadn't seemed so full. Maybe it was the uncomfortable waiting feeling - if this was supposed to be an organizational meeting, Bea didn't really think much of it. She looked around for a place to sit, and then darted into the kitchen. A moment later, she returned, dragging a rickety wooden chair nearly as bit as she was, and set it near the opposite end of the couch from where Zepher was sitting.
Finally, Zepher cleared her throat and stood. Looking rather nervous, she looked around the group, and plunged in. "Er... Thanks for showing up today, everyone. I'm Zepher. Some of you already know me, but I'm sure some of you don't, because there's a lot of people here I don't know. So maybe we could start by, um, introducing ourselves? Just whatever you want to be called by."
Yeah. Dynamic leadership style, there. Or not.
((Eck. Sorry for keeping people waiting. I blame Pokemon Diamond, if anyone cares...))

((I care...but just cause I am that cool))
Julia took this as her chance. She glided, for that is what it looked like, toward the center of the room.
"Hello." She whispered, he voice sounding as if there was a breeze in the room. "My name is Julia." She blushed, knowing that she wasn't acting like herself.
Forgive me, Raphael. She said to him, inside his head. I hate not being known. Being so...alone. I am so sorry. She started to cry and took her place next to Raphael on the wall.
Raphael was stunned. She feels....alone? But...How? he thought, realizing that they had been each other's company for the past fifteen years.
Raphael decided that, if his sister was strong enough, he could be, too. He walked to the exact same place that his sister did.
"Hello." He said in a half-growl. "I am Raphael." and he quickly walked toward Julia, not knowing what could come from this meeting.

Guadalupe had expected to get started with the business at hand right away. She would have preferred that dramatically. Instead she had to introduce herself, and introductions were such a painful experience for the girl. She was terrified someone new might just recognize her name—her deeds, and she hated having to explain. Besides, Guadalupe Harrison wanted to explain her idea. She was becoming obsessed. So, she waved one of her hands in the air, so that attention was drawn to her form perched upon the floor. “I’m Guadalupe Harrison, and I have an idea I would like to bring up.” Guadalupe could not help but to leak a tad bit of her power, her unnatural charisma into her words. She carefully wove the power into her syllables. She just wanted every eye in the room to focus on her and her idea.
Guadalupe did wonder who would notice her power use. She did not choose to use her charisma often, but she did know Gabriel could detect it. She assumed the other psys in the room could, too. Of course, few of them would be able to know what it was, and besides, she was only using a little bit of her power. She often used far more in everyday conversation unintentionally. Guadalupe did know Gabriel had noticed, because his face had flashed in a look of recognition and his mixture of shock and horror almost assumed her. It would not have—at all, had she not been so angry with him.
When she was finished with her introduction, Guadalupe turned her attention back to Eric. “I used to know how to play. It’s strange the things I remember that I have forgotten.” Guadalupe had forgotten so much in her absence from normal life. “I guess it’s not like riding a bike.” She added with a small, joking smile.
Gabriel coughed slightly. He was not sure whether he was trying to warn Guadalupe that her unexpected, intention power-use might have consequences, or if he wanted to draw attention to himself. Afterwards, though, he flashed a soft smile. “I’m Gabriel Blythe.” He explained, with a small shrug of his shoulders. Despite the fact he had addressed the whole House, his eyes were still very focused on Guadalupe.
((English is going to arrive laaaat—fashionably late, and she’ll probably be dressed. Iris may or may not show up. She’ll just cower in a corner anyway, and be of no use. ))

Christina blew a loud, irritated sigh, looking up from the papers she was working on; papers that were covered in her own handwritten A's, G's, T's, and C's; as she realized that it was probably time to go to the House meeting. Not that she wanted to, but she knew it was important, and it would be stupid to miss out on whatever the experiments had planned. Sven had come by to check on her earlier that day, and she had, like a fool, casually mentioned the meeting during their conversation.
You're going to attend, right? Sven had asked her.
"What?! Me, waste my time with some stupid meeting run by freaks? No," Christina had replied.
Christina, you don't know what the meeting's about. They could be planning something, for all you know. If they are, it would be a huge tactical advantage to know what it is.
Christina had grumbled about it, but in the end, she knew Sven was right. And now it was probably just about time to show up to the meeting. Putting her papers away, she took comfort in the notion that attending this meeting might help bring about the downfall of this wretched place. She smiled at the mental image of all the residents recaptured, looking miserable in their cages, and her, fully human again, taking credit for the glorious victory.
She walked to the door of her room, and opened it. She and Sven had made a little more headway with her cure since the kitten splice had met Gabriel in the living room. She had been growing taller in tiny increments until she was now almost three feet tall; tall enough to reach doorknobs without having to climb up the frame of the door. Her hands were a little less paw-like now, too, but still covered with fur, and still tipped with claws.
She came down the stairs and slunk into the room, not really wanting to be noticed, as if embarrassed about being at the meeting at all. Good, the meeting was already starting; the last thing Christina wanted was to be early. She looked around to get an idea of what was going on. Oh. They were introducing themselves. Crud. Certainly not wanting to be hasty with her own introduction, Christina was more than willing to sit and wait until they got around to her.
Christina turned her eyes towards Guadalupe with interest as the girl announced that she had an idea. Good, Christina thought, maybe this meeting wouldn't be entirely pointless after all. Maybe.
"Oh, hello," Tonya said with a start, interrupted from her daydreams (and everyone else's) by Aerial's greeting. If she was a little more spacey than usual, it was because she had just woke up maybe a half an hour ago. "Um, getting ready for the meeting, I guess," she mumbled. Then the introductions began, and Tonya wasn't looking forward to introducing herself any more than Christina was. "Great," she sighed, "I hate introductions."
Tonya felt her eyes gravitate to Guadalupe as the girl announced that she had an idea. It was good to have something to focus on, to help shut out all the faces and figments that filled the room. She was sort of vaguely interested in what Guadalupe might have to say, but she didn't see it as something that might affect her, so she was really only concerned out of a desire to be interested in something.
"Yes, I believe it could be considered fiction," Deltar answered Tarr. "You are correct, its fictional nature is rather ambiguous. Parts of it are factual, but I am fairly certain that other parts are not. For instance, I was just reading about a hypothetical restaurant, called the H-bar, where quantum physical laws apply in the everyday world." Deltar smiled a bit and said, "I would not recommend ordering sushi there." He was attempting a joke; he said it hesitantly, because he knew that human humor had a very fine line between something that was 'funny' and something that was just stupid.
Dakota watched the introductions for a while, then stood up to introduce herself. "I'm Dakota Faulkner," she said, using her full name as the two people who had gone before her had done. She was curious to hear Guadalupe's idea, wondering to herself what it could be. She lay back down on her cushion as she waited for others to introduce themselves.
Deltar listened to a few of the introductions to make sure he understood what was going on. Then he stepped forward a step and said, "Greetings. I am Deltar five-nine-six-two, of Cambria." Then he took his seat again to allow for others to introduce themselves. He too, was interested in Guadalupe's announcement, and eager for the meeting to start.
"Sorry I'm late, guys," said someone who looked exactly like Zepher as she burst in through the front door, obviously rushed; she looked like she had run a good deal of the way to the House. It was Echo, and she had just found a job as a photographer for a textbook company. She was returning from an employee training session which had run later than she had expected, a company camera still hanging around her neck. She was a little out of breath, but still quite obviously in a good mood. She'd wanted this job since forever, and it was finally beginning to look like she would get it. She only hoped she would be able to keep it.
Christina's eyes narrowed with a look of suspicion mixed with intrigue as a second Zepher entered the room. She had considered the possibility that Jordan might be residing at the House (she had never realized that it was her in the guise of Anna Paquin at the Halloween party), so when she saw the two look-alikes, she naturally jumped to the conclusion that one of them might be her nemesis. But then she realized she was being paranoid; they were probably just twins. Still, probably best to keep an eye on the twin with the camera around her neck; Jordan had an interest in photography, if Christina's memory served.

When Guadalupe introduced herself Tarr's attention had wondered to her, which was unusual, seeing as he was talking to Deltar. Then, as other proceeded with their introductions, he was able to focus back on what his friend was saying, catching the hesitant joke
Tarr smiled easily at Deltar's quip. "I can imagine." He said, than paused, while Deltar introduced his-self.
He stood up, about to introduce himself as well, when Echo made her entrance. His smile returned. "I think it's fine Echo, we were all just introducing ourselves." He said. "Speaking of which, I'm Tarr, and I have an idea as well." He said, figuring that it was probably a good idea for those who had ideas to say so, like Guadalupe had.

So they were introducing themselves. Adrian watched the others carefully, although he already knew the names of the majority of those who had already stepped forward. He tended to ignore these, scrutinizing those he didn't recognize, or perceived as a threat--specifically, Gabriel, and Kat if she decided to make an appearance. He had to admit, the number of people was a bit of a bother, too many to watch all of them constantly. But this was, doubtless, important, so he was d**n well going to put up with it.
Ah, but he had to introduce himself. Ignoring the general rule of etiquette, Adrian stood on the cushion he was already sitting on, for maximum height. After all, he doubted that he would be easily noticed in a slowly increasing crowd if he was less than four feet tall. Clearing his throat, in case anyone else had the idea to introduce themselves at that particular second, he announced his name. "I would be Adrian Caldik." Then he let his legs fold under him, so that he almost fell back down to his seat, bouncing ever so slightly.
Meanwhile, Repete was hurriedly pulling on his clothes upstairs, still somewhat wet. He had, not so brilliantly, decided to get his run in early, in case the meeting lasted well into the night. It was a practical plan, of course. No flaws. At least, not until he realized that there were a lot of people in the House to cram into the living room, and he would arrive sweaty. Re was rather confident that no one would appreciate the less than pleasant smelling side effects of sweat.
So there he was, in the bathroom, jumping his way into a faded pair of blue jeans, thanking The Powers That Be for his balance. Stuffing his eye patch in his back pocket, he grabbed his shirt, green, and dashed out, pulling it over his head on his way to the stairs. Jogging down them, he slipped his patch on, and by the time he reached the living room, he was entirely put together--except for his mussed, wet brown hair. Not that he noticed, too preoccupied with feeling awkward about arriving what seemed to be late.
They seemed to be doing introductions, though, so he eased himself closer into the group, affected a pleasant smile. "I'm Repete. But you all can call me Re." Then he looked awkwardly around him, and eventually simply sat where he stood, pretzel-style with his hands folded in his lap.

Julia stared in amazement as everyone annouced their names. Their full names. What IS our name? She thought. She never knew, only knowing the serial code that was assigned to her.
Julia stood again in the center of the crowd of people, and cleared her throat.
"I guess I should have specified. I am Julia-four-seven-three-zero-dash-nine. My brother, Raphael, is Raphael-six-six-four-dash-three. I am so sorry for not being as specific as everyone else, but I-" Just then Raphael came up behind her.
"Where we came from had not taught us how to act in public, let alone tell us our...how should I say this? They didn't tell us our full names, our birth names. Only what they thought we needed to keep a small shred of humanity with us. We are sorry for our rudeness." He added with a sudden briskness that implied that he wasn't use to interacting yet.
Thank you, brother. Julia told him, telepathically. He just looked at her, his eyes unreadable, as they walked back to their place against the wall.

Argentine did not like the idea of introductions. And from what he gathered, most other people felt the same way. They were A) awkward and embarrassing, and B) a waste of time when they could be discussing more important things. What did it really matter who everyone was? Then again, he figured the owner of the house probably wanted to know what strange people were living there. He was going to stay silent entirely and hope no one noticed him. But then the boy next to him stood up and said his name. Adrian. At least it satisfied his curiosity. The boy still seemed odd to him.
He was more than shocked when Julia came forward again and rattled off a batch of numbers. His confusion broke the barrier in his mind and for a moment he glimpsed the telepathic connection between brother and sister. Things at this place were just a little too strange for Argentine. He wasn't sure if he'd get used to it. But after the poor girl's babble he felt maybe some attention should be off her. So he put a hand briefly in the air, to announce his turn to speak.
"Argentine Artigas," He said dully, glancing around at the other people, sizing up the faces and trying to decide how many were thinking he was weird by facial expression alone. He found it surprisingly difficult to tell what people were feeling when he wasn't using his gift.
Aerial didn't get a chance to question Tonya before people started talking. He gathered quickly that this must be the meeting she mentioned and that somehow he had walked right into it. He would've preferred not to be there. He was a silent member of the house and was quite happy staying that way. In fact, Tonya was the only person he even knew.
He thought longingly for the outside. Or for a room, any room, so long as it wasn't this one with so many people. He wanted to be alone. He didn't want to look around at all the people; they were just a glaring reminder that something horrible happened to him and he couldn't remember it. Quietly, Aerial folded his legs beneath him and ducked his head, keeping small and out of the way. Hopefully no one would prod him for an introduction and he wouldn't have to think of which name to use.

"Boo."
Buffy appeared behind Deltar, slapping her deathly white hands down on his shoulders. His first set, anyways. Part of her body seemed to be cut off, stuck inside the chair. She felt like showing off her newest achievement- part intangibility. Genius. Smiling, she floated out of the chair and around, taking a 'seat' by Tarr about three inches off the ground. "Quantum Physics? I always thought people made half that up to make themselves sound smart." She laughed, and wrapped an arm around both knees. Deltar was always so weird.
She hadn't missed the introductions- just decided to sit back and watch a certain someone for a minute. Buffy /had/ been busy eating a candy she had bought with her pet-sitting money (Buffy found a day job!), saw the notice for the first time, and had drifted in the corner for awhile. Despite what others were thinking, she had a rather good opinion on introductions right now, and took the moment to pipe up, "Buffy Toranto, half ghost. And I /don't/ have an idea." She had to bite her tongue to keep from adding a great, big "HELLO, WORLD!" It just didn't seem like the appropriate moment. She turned to Tarr and stuck out a hand for him to shake, knowing he'd be completely oblivious that she had just made it intangible again. Ah, it's good to be a ghost.
ooc; Enter Buffy
And Lunar, I don't blame you. But I just lost my ds D':
You know, I mightmightmight bring Kat into this... By accident. She can't read much, exactly o.o; She can spell out 'dog', but she can't really /read/.

Tarr went wide eyed as Buffy made her appearance. He'd never met anyone so outgoing at the House before. He'd noticed that a lot of the House occupants seemed to like keeping to themselves, and he understood why. But Buffy went completely the other way, apparently.
"Err, hello?." He said, a hesitant smile on his face. He reached out, and blinked as his hand went right through hers. He tried again, with the same results, and realized he's walked, sorta, right into a joke. "Okay, half-ghost, nice." He said with a chuckle, pretending to grab her hand, when all he could feel was air. His smile was now on fully.
