Gah, I just realized that I totally forgot to mention something about Pipsqueak; and talking about Kaspar needing someone to take care of him reminded me.
The thing I forgot to mention is that, while Pipsqueak isn't a 'pet' the way Kaspar is, he might need someone to show him the ropes of 'civilized' life, and teach him about what to do and what not to do around humans. Actually, /Pipsqueak/ probably won't think that he needs anybody's help adjusting to the human world, but Isaac would probably disagree with him (I was going to have Isaac bring up this point when the time came). For one thing, ahm, Pip isn't exactly housebroken. XP At least he'll probably be really easy to housebreak, so long as he knows there are rewards involved. But then there's also the whole thing where he sees nothing wrong with killing sentient creatures, so long as they're weaker than you. That one might be a little harder (if not impossible) to train him out of, though.
Buuut, Isaac, being Isaac, would probably be more worried about Pipsqueak becoming /too/ human, than about what the humans would think of his unorthodox attitudes; so he'd make sure to stress to Pip's future caretaker that he's /not/ human, and shouldn't be treated or judged as such. He has 'special needs,' lol.
The whole 'caretaker' situation wouldn't have to be a permanent arrangement; in fact, it almost certainly wouldn't be. Pipsqueak is going to want to get anything resembling 'companionship' over with as fast as possible. Thus meaning that he'll allow himself to be 'trained' as fast as he knows how to learn. AND THEN GET THE HECK AWAY FROM THE CREEPY TOO-FRIENDLY PERSON!!
So, um, anyone interested in having a freaky bat-creature as a temporary 'pet'?
