Kitsuku having escaped once again from his lab after a long eventful year limped up the path to the house remembering the way from the last time he had gotten lost and had found the house. He looked down the pathway leading up to the house and saw the familiar sight of the house he lived at only a year before.
He started to walk down the path hearing the crows in the trees and pulled his coat around his body more feeling the cold nip at his body. He shivered and walked to the door his eyes shining as he knocked on the door not wanting to rudely walk inside after having been away for so long. He shivered and knocked again knowing how big the house was and how long it might take for someone to walk to the door. He turned looking out across the street as his ears twitched in the slight breeze.

Tv was hypnotizing. It only took thirty seconds to drown you into submission, keeping your eyes locked on the world within the screen. In half a minute, a show could pull you into the story line and keep you there, wondering what would happen next, despite that it was completely fake and you weren't interested in it a second before. It didn't stop your hands from ripping into a bad of pretzels, though, and shoving them mindlessly, mechanically, into your mouth.
Kat ignored the first knock, having tuned everything else out except the drama going on between Freddy and Velma. Freddy was so rude, taking all the glory, when Velma was the one who was solving all the problems. Of course, the real problem was that Scrappy was the one behind everything. Kat knew that-she had seen this movie plenty of times, but still... The second knock flung her head back into this dimension, and she scowled. The scent she could just catch through the front door wasn't very familiar, but it was just recognizable enough to make her wonder who it was. Probably a return escapee. Why didn't they just settle down here, like a smart person, instead of interrupting her Movie Time? She lobbed her butt off the couch, stretching her in front of her.
"Whaaaaaaaaaat?" She moaned, walking towards the door. It had been imprinted in her to NOT fling open the door and do a tap-dance for all the normal citizens of the world to see. In fact, she wasn't even supposed to open the door, but noone else was in the immediate area, and the faster she could get back to her movie, the better. Kat opened the door slightly, a two-inch-thick sliver of herself visible through the crack. She peeked out, and had to look up to meet with the mismatched eyes.
...
"HOLY LORD ALMIGHTY IT'S YOU AGAIN IT'S YOU AND YOUR HERE AND I'M GOING NOW."
It only took 'bout five seconds for her to scamper away, the door swinging open as she dashed to hide behind the couch. Ah, yes. The couch was her fortress. He could not penetrate something as solid as this. Maybe, for safety... She oughtta yank a few pillows off the couch, too. Just a precaution. Yes, yes, that's all... It was hard, though, to get them without clawing them down. She had gone Tiger somewhere between answering the door and hiding behind the couch. Yeah, that was smart. She was full-grown now, as a tiger anyways, and was MUCHO bigger than she was back when he first stayed here.
Maybe reacting from memory WAS silly. But OH WELL. She remembers him as a bad thing, and until something changed that, she would react as such.

Kitsuku Giggled playfully and glided across the floor easily his paws making almost no sound over the entryway floor. "I see you sorta remember me~" He smiled and stood behind the couch letting it come between her and him so he didn't scare her away "Aww still as cute and hyper as ever and I'm sure this wont help but before I wanted t come over I had to pick it up for you even though its something I shouldn't give you" He reached into his backpack and pulled out a bag of cookies and tossed it into the air. He was telekinetic all what was left of his powers and he lowered it gently to the floor in front of her. "And don't worry im not the submissive scared fox I use to be kitten~" His voice was much softer then it was before and his fur much more groomed then previously as well. He sighed and sat on the floor getting to her level not wanting to scare her.
He pulled out some bubbles and started to blow them for her making them in all different shapes and sizes to entertain her using his powers to do so before making a real life sized butterfly and making it fly over to her paw before popping. "Anyways How is everyone here? Ive been gone so long but I wrote out all my adventures in my diary and such as well as made poems about it and all~" His voice was so much different like he had eaten a soft and fluffy cloud and it became his voice. "And don't worry about your movie I have it on my laptop as well as pretty much any other movie you can ask for hun, I get them offline and burn them to dvd a lot" His tail wagged as he talked it being long for a fox was pretty and shiny his white furr at the tip super shiny in the soft light of the room.
"IS anyone around hun?" HE looked around the empty room "You should eat something I can make you some food if you want?"

Kat tried to back away from him, swiping up a pillow from the couch and tossing it at him anyways, not caring about the new rip she had made by doing so. It was already a bit torn up innywho. What on earth was he doing, talking and smiling like that. That wasn't something he was supposed to do!! She nearly panicked, nearly sprung up the stairs and locked herself in her room for all eternity. But then, he gave her cookies.
... He GAVE her COOKIES.
She glared at them, suspicious. They had, had, had to be poisoned. She rolled her "shoulders" (I guess you'd still call 'em shoulders, even if we're talking about a cat), and sniffed 'em. Nope. Just cookies. Which means she fully intended eating each one. AFTER she roared at him for calling her 'cute', which she promptly did. I'm not cute, she thought, I'm cool. Cool, she repeated to herself. Cute things weren't strong and mighty. And she tacked a small growl at the end of the roar-- She wasn't a kitten anymore. Maybe when she was a human. But two years in experimental-tiger-time can add over 500 pounds to you. In the back of her mind, she wished that the fancy snarl would scare him away, although it probably didn't. She wouldn't run away from him quite yet, not when he was acting so... different. She'd stick around, but would be careful about it.
And then he had to pull out the bubbles. If there's one thing a cat can't resist, it's something that's shiny and moves. It didn't help that her human side was clawing to attack the bubbles, too. Which she ended up doing, despite her restraint. Playfully pouncing the bubbles, but letting the ones that stayed near Kitsuku be. She wasn't quite that comfertable with him yet. She tried to respond to his questions, but to do so would mean she would have to switch back into half-human form, and it felt much safer to be a 600 pound winged cat.
She knew that, at any moment, someone was bound to make an appearence after hearing the conversation going on by the door/in the living room. There seemed to be a pattern with these sorts of things. So that question would be answered. To the food part of his questioning, she watched him cautiously, and them hopped over the back of the couch like it was a pencil on the ground, touching nothing but air until she landed on the sofa's cushions. She picked the pretzel bag up in her mouth, and looked at him, careful to keep her distance.

He smiled watching her, she was still adorable even though she wasn't fully a kitten though still acted like one a little. When the pillow flew at him his eyes glowed green and the pillow stopped in front of his face landing on the floor. "See I practiced from the last time"
He found it cute of her to pounce playfully at the bubbles like she did. Once he was done he put the small bubble container back in his backpack and zipped it closed "Ok but no pretzels are not food~" He giggled and keeled down pawing through his backpack finding a small bag of goldfish crackers and tossed them to her letting it land next to her. "But really you need to eat healthier Kat" He stood up pulling his backpack over his shoulder and placed it at the side of the couch so he wouldn't loose it. Returning to the couch he took off his trench coat and let it drop to the top of his backpack standing there with his baggy pants and his chest fur as he didn't wear shirts to much as he overheated with all the fur and fabric. "He murred softly and walked to the couch sitting down replacing the cushion to its rightful place first. "Has anyone been around lately or only you?" He layed his tail on his lap and brushed it a little with his claws making sure it stayed nice and shiny as he liked his tail a lot. He giggled as the tip of his tail wagged side to side.

She pouted when the pillow didn't reach its target, and tried again. Probably useless. And then she had to stop and rethink what she had just did- something playful. But... he was scary... Not so scary anymore, she reminded herself, and she looked over the Fox Man again. He was still physically scary. But he acted completely and totally different than before. Maybe she COULD give him a second chance.
She hummed a growl, defending the status of her pretzels. They certainly were food. Kat could eat them, couldn't she? But still, she gave them up when he tossed the bag of Goldfish, letting the crunchy salty snacks of yum spill on the floor. She struggled with opening the baggie with her paws, but quickly gave up on that. Looks like she'd HAVE to change. It was faster than it should be for her to completely shift between two completely different body shapes, and suddenly a little girl was in the place of the large tiger, off-white hair brushing her waist, the thin streaks of black matching the stripes over her furry body. Which was completely uncovered, of course. No sense mussing up her fur, that was always growing longer (almost over 3 inches in some areas). And why undress every time she had to shift?
"I am eating healthy," she whined, pulling her knees up by her face and securing them there with her arms. Time for a bit of unbeatable Kat Logic. "If something is healthy then it makes you happy," she explained, "and if pretzels make me happy then they're perfectly healthy." Still, she disregarded the mess and focused on opening the baggie. She had some practice with these things, and it had taken her awhile, but one day she had finally got the trick. You simply had to push your claw gently through the seal and part the plastic slowly, so that the plastic didn't rip. Soon she was munching on the little fishies, wondering absently what would happen if they were really fish. Well, they wouldn't be so crunchy, for one thing.
She scooted towards the other side of the couch, getting out of her curled-up position to do so. One wing twitched instinctively, thinking it should make a partition between Kat and Kitsuku. She stopped the wing from doing so, and kept it folded behind her. Made it a bit harder to lean back, yes, but she would give him the chance to be not-scary. "No, there's always people here," she replied, her tiger-like ears twisting slightly as if she expected someone to turn around the corner the second she said that. "Some of us'll prolly live forever in here, until freaky furry people are normal." She let out a little sigh. Of course Kitsuku could run around, hiding his differences underneath a coat and a hat, he could probably manage not spazzing out and attacking a bird the second he saw one, or try to hold a squirrel hostage and force it to play as a doll with him. Kat's self control, however...

Kitsuku murred and yelped a little turning and moving his shoulder. "Grr my wing has been acting up I havnt stretched it out properly before I fly a lot so It cramps up at times.." He stood up and spread his huge wings each almost 5 feet long and big the black wings very pretty but very strong looking. He started to stretch out his wings more bending over and then kneeling down twisting his chest a little trying to stretch more. "Its not easy having dragon wings at times" He giggled and refolded them back to his body then had them disappear into his back. "Well that will be good for now at least I have to remember to have them out as much as possible or they cramp up.." He stood back up and turned his form skinny but in good shape if not slightly underweight, after all he had a very feminine shape to his body .
He turned around a few times looking over the room and saw the kitchen "I should cook you something in a little while I doubt anyone here makes you anything to eat and your a nice big kitty tiger girl and need to eat healthy" He giggles and turned to her his little whiskers twitching a little cutely. His eyes glowed a little as he shivered. "Ok we need a heater to If I'm cold then the place is to cold.." He pulled his black blanket out of his bag and held it around his body warming up quickly. He Giggled watching her spill the fish and try to open it and stuff before helping, his eyes glowing a little more as the fish floated off the floor and floated back to the bag filling it back up. "It takes practice using paws Trust me" He giggled remembering the time he tried using chop sticks with his paws, the sushi flying all over the restaurant and landing in peoples hair and stuff. He blushed and giggled a little "Unfortunately I am easily entertained as well and get distracted.." He turned noticing the door was unlocked and went to lock it just to make sure nobody got inside, not that he couldn't defend himself he was strong.
Turning back to the Tiger he walked back to the room and yawned "Your a kitty maby Ill make salmon or something~"

Kat smiled, showing her sharp little canines. This was her chance to shine. To show off a bit. He may have some impressive dragon wings, but Kat had some big-arse feathery ones. Explainably huge. And rather than being tall, since that would mean when they were folded, she'd have them hanging over her head, they got their surface area from their width. Kat yawned, pretending to stretch, too. She interlaced her fuzzy fingers (the fir was mush shorter there), and stretched her arms in front of her, standing up. At the same time, she stretched her wings out to the best of her abilities, however, they were stopped by the walls. "Know how you feel," she said, hiding her smile the best she could. "Just having wings is kinda hard." Yes, there was a reason for their huge-nosity. How else was she supposed to get her fat tiger-self off the ground? Sure, they were pointlessly large when she was just human. And there had been that awkward stage... that while when her wings weren't big enough to let her fly freely as a tiger. But that was all fixed up now. She folded them against her back, too, although they didn't melt away. Too bad- it would've made going outside more possible.
An annoyed expression creeped onto her face. "I do eat healthy, I already told you that," she complained, crossing her arms. But the idea of some cooked food was nice. The most she did in the kitchen was use the microwave- which would explain the scratches marring the buttons and handle. And it was usually something unhealthy, despite what Kat says. The most unhealthy things in life tend to taste the best, and Kat definitely did not care about the sugar content of her dinner enough to know that, if it wasn't for her kitty metabolism, she'd weight the same in either form, tiger or human-600 pounderoos.
She frowned, and picked the fishies off the floor, popping them into her mouth. "It's not cold, is it?" Maybe it was because the type of tiger she was spliced with was used to cold (Kat didn't know for sure), or if Kitsuku was just weird, but it didn't feel all that cold. She shrugged, and then hopped off the couch, wondering towards his backpack. She poked it cautiously, and then opened it, her tail flicking slightly in interest. "How much stuff can you fit in here?" She asked, in a hushed tone, a little afraid of touching his stuff.
"Salmon is yum," she said, smiling. "But deer is yummer," she added quietly, mostly to herself. Kat had gotten away with flying- on a cloudy, dark day -to a woodland place, where the deer lived all happy-like. It was crazy fun, tracking and stalking, having some challenge in getting her food for once.

Kitsuku giggled but liked her wings "Aww pretty wings kitty~" HE liked how big they were and appreciated that they were made of feathers instead of heavier scales. He watched her go to his backpack and snapped his fingers his backpack closing a little and started to rise off the floor floating up to the ceiling until she fell free before closing the lock on the backpack snapping shut. "A lot of stuff but don't poke through there, its my personal stuff and some of it can be dangerous"
He walked to the kitchen and started the stove taking out a pan and spraying it with nonstick stuff before walking to the refrigerator and pulling out some fish that was still fresh. "Well I need to do some shopping but until then we have some nice sea bass" Kitsuku hadn't cooked fish in a while as he was more into steak and he loved chicken a lot being a fox and all. He placed the fish on the pan and covered in greatly with red pepper for some spice as well as regular pepper, salt, garlic as well as lemon and lime as well as a little bit of parsley for flavor. "Wren you can cook well you can make even really nasty stuff taste good~" He smiled and let the fish simmer before taking it off and placing it on a plate placing a slice of lemon next to it as well as a snip of parsley to make the plate seem more eye appealing and pretty. "Come here and eat Kat you'll like it I cook very well having practiced for years and all" He smiled and placed it down on the table for her with a fork and a napkin. "If you eat it all I have something better then cookies!!~ But I wont tell you till your done eating when that will be~"

Kat pouted, crossing her arms when the Fox lifted the pack away from her. If it wasn't Kitsuku we were talking about, then she would jumped up snatched it, straight out of his telekinetic grip. And try to break the lock. If she couldn't manage that, well, there was a reason she had claws and teeth. "Yeeeeaaaah, riiiiiiiight," she said, mocking him. Dangerous stuff? NOTHING was too dangerous for Kat the Great!! Except maybe one to many Cokes...
Speaking of Coke, Kitsuku was headed for the kitchen. Why not pick up a can? She slinked in after him, her fuzzy feet silent on whatever flooring the kitchen had (linoleum? Tile?). She passed the Very Fuzzy And Very Tall One, and went for the fridge. She did a quick once-over, and frowned. Only two Cokes left. Her hand reached out and curled around one, pulling it out. She lingered there for a moment, fridge open, wasting energy, having a miniature debate in her head (complete with balding pudgy guys in armchairs defending each side of the case!). To share, or not to share. On one hand, this Coke had already been claimed by her. Okay, so the sharpie scrawls of "KAT" on the bottom were half-way rubbed off, but... And why did he need her Coka Cola? He could get his own. Of course, he was being super uber special nice to her... Why, she didn't know, but he was. And making her a fishy, according to his words and the smell. And the cookies, and the bubbles... Sigh. Kat bit her lip, and picked up the second can, swinging the fridge door shut with her tail. She walked over and set the Coke on t he counter next to him. He looked too busy cooking to take the soda.
"Thanks, Kitsuku," she said, a smile growing on her face. Maybe the karma she got for giving him the last Coke was coming back around, because the fish smelled ggggreat. Eating all would not be a problem in the slightest for a growing tiger, aka The Bottomless Pit. She disregarded the fork, and slopped it all down with her hands, using her claws when she needed to cut anything up. Utensils were more annoying with claws, even though she still had normal fingers. Finishing, she stood up, and smiled her biggest, toothy smile at the black anthro. "GEEZUZ! WHERE did you learn to COOK like that??" She decided to be civil and NOT lick the plate clean, like a normal girl. Of course, the bit of pretty parsley was still on the plate- it was green, so she didn't plan on eating it. "What's the somethinigbetterthancookies?" She asked, her tail flicking now. She took a big swig of Coke, the can nearly finished by now, the caffeine starting to get to her. She bounced excitedly on the balls of her feet, fingers intertwining to give them something to do.
Something minor crossed her mind. Before he showed her the big yummy surprise, Kat noticed that he said he needed to go shopping. This implied that he had money. "Hey, um, where do you work?" She asked, her tail flicking side to side. Very hypah-like. "You said you need to shop, so you MUST have money, so where do you get it?" She guessed he stole, because the thought of him working at a mall or something made her giggle. That's what most of the more animal-like experiments tended to do. Steal or something.

Kitsuku watched her eat the foot sitting at the counter and smiled at her. She was a cute little tiger he thought and took a sip of coke "Oh and thanks for the coke Ill be sure to buy more when I go.." He always used silverware but he was extremely sophisticated for an anthro. He wagged his tail a little as he watched he eat and sighed his bag floating to the counter and landing next to his arm bumping him a little. Opening it up he pulled out his wallet and stuffed it into his pocket and pawed at the inside of his bag.
He heard her get up and turned to her "Oh yes thats right dessert well... I can go to the store if I don't have what you like but I have Tiramisu or I have flan or I can go to the store and get you something kitty~" He was big and tough looking so he liked to call her cute names just to see her flustered a little bit. He had to get some amusement at times. Shifting in his chair he locked his bag back up carefully. "And as for my money I have a lot of it and Its because I worked at the genetic lab where my dad had locked me up.." "I was forced to be a scientist but I don't mind to much after all I got to look after my experiments took really good care of them like they were my family and I got paid nicely as well as I got to go anywhere in the lab grounds freely. It was hard though at times and I was stressed a lot but it worked out in the end I learned a lot about DNA got to run my own lab room and made sure that at least my experiments were treated well, I even bought them food.
" Lets see.. At the peak of my work there I had about five experiments at one time and I got to keep them in my apartment room, As everyone working in the lab had an apartment in the same building. And I had them all sleep on the pull out mattress from my couch. I mostly had anthro wolfs and fox's as well as a few dragons but the lab liked canines a lot so.." But anyway Working there for 8 years really makes a lot of money as I got free room and food there. I did buy blankets for my experiments cages for when they had to sleep in them but I made sure they were taken care of and let them watch tv at night so.." He sighed and leaned back in his chair. "Kinda miss it but I am glad to be out I have a lot of my stuff still on my laptop and DNA and stuff to try to make antidotes for experiments for enhancements or to get back to normal but I am happy with myself and I will never try to go back to human form as I like being a fox dragon thing"
He smiled his little fox fangs shimmering in the soft kitchen light. "But anyway While I was gone I did practice telepathy so I could talk to Eric more I hope he is doing ok hope he feels I didn't abandon him at all.."

Okay. It's official. NOONE who buys more Coke just for Kat is bad. Kitsuku is definitely friend-material.
A little purr started at the thought, and she drank down the last bit of Coke, her tail twitching like crazy behind her. She eyed his bag as it nudged him, and her attention was drawn back to it. What was in there, anyway...? He was a good guy now. NUTHING in his bag could be THAT bad... Unless he WASN'T a good guy. Because he was old. Like, an adult. And everyone knows most adults are evil. They already have world domination, what more could they want?
"Tiramisu? Flan?" Her face scrunched up, imagining some crazy, vitamin-filled Chinese Food and a block of wood. Why would someone eat a black of wood? That was just crazy. "What on Earth you talkin' 'bout?" He might HAVE to get something from the store, because whatever he had, it did NOT sound appealing. "And I'm not a kitty, dangit!" She added, a growl lacing her words. NO! She was BIG and POWERFUL and could KICK BUTT! Kitty's couldn't do that! "WHY do you call me that!?" She scowled, her lower lip puffing out, and crossed her furry arms. She wasn't cute or adorable or anything like that, goshdarnit! Didn't people GET that?? She turned on her heal, pivoting to face away from him, her feathers ruffled. She would deal with it the first few times, but...
With her back turned to him, she soaked up his story, tensing more with each sentence. But he was so nice. How could he be a scientist? Even if he was forced to... Isn't he big and strong and able to punch the brains out of the bad guys? Why didn't he do that? "Aren't you big and strong able able to punch the brains out of the bag guys? Why didn't you do that?" She asked, still not facing him. It was MORE than a little scary, growing up around people that had the idea that scientists were bad. Kat's own lab wasn't very pretty, but decently humane (they were seeing if less pain equals better outcomes and more survival), so she had less of a reason to hate them (other than killing her mum and imprisoning her, she rather likes being a tiger). Still, since she was 6, she's heard too many stories of the Evil Doings of the "white coats". Biases formed. The friendly-and-fun-ness of Kitsuku countered that, entirely. Her little brain was very much confused. "You could've sprung everyone from the joint! You could do some crazy stuff, and let everyone escape! It's cool you were all nice and stuff, nice people rock, but," Her hands were gesturing wildly, and she spun around to face him. "but, but STILL!" Of course, he probably couldn't have, but Kat's mind is sort of impractical.
"Eric?" She said, on a completely different tone. "I haven't seen him in awhile..." She frowned. No more job as the Seeing Eye Tiger, and noone to translate for her as good as him. But if this ex-scientist was practicing his telepathy... Sweeeeet...

Kitsuku laughed a little and shook his head "Kitty Kitty~" He walked to the table and pulled a purple bag of chocolate cookies from it, about 30 maby more in the bag. "Ok then how about you get this bag of cookies and relax" He put the bag on the table and turned to the window looking out of it.
"And as for the question of why didn't I escape or get others out? Well first my Step dad owned the lab as I said before but he modified his body to be ultra strong and if I stepped out of line or retaliated he would hurt me pretty badly. My body has an amazing ability to heal itself almost instantly and he would use that to hurt me again and again. But it wasn't all bad I did help a lot of experiments escape in a way and I got a lot loving family's or their old family's they had been taken from.
"My dad would kidnap the teens in the area and then change them and brainwash them so they couldn't remember having a family and sell them as slaves in stores called "PeTz" Stores. Anyway Most of mine I was able to keep well and healthy I never had one die had some close calls though at times but I kept them well fed and stuff and even got them sold off back to their family's or if their family gave them there in the first place found new family's to take care of love them. But I was unlucky with one Experiment he got half brainwashed and he remembers he had a family and even all the events and stuff just not their names or what they looked like. So he is mine for now I adopted him as he is ultra shy, is scared easily and is completely attached to me. I couldn't give him away he would be unhappy. Anyway his name is Echo he doesn't talk to anyone but me and lacks trust in other people. He is mostly bat but very cute and a very dark blue color. He should be here soon he is flying around a little bit probably on the roof actually but he is mine so.
"But Also I couldn't escape because everyone lived in the lab even the scientists and anyone altered had a collar that would hurt you badly or kill you if you tried to get it off or leave the labs grounds. But I didn't want to leave It would have meant abandoning my pups (What I call my experiments) and I could not do that as I considered them my family so."
"When the time came and I only had Echo left I was able to escape the lab with him, my bag, my laptop and research stuff and DNA I took from my lab to work on here. Oh but don't worry Even though I have Echo I still only need one bed he just curls by my feet when I sleep so he isn't any trouble to have around as well as he is a good cook and cute so."
Stepping away from the window he looked at the Tiger and picked up his bag "Now Hopefully Eric Will show up so I can talk to him he is pretty cool and I want to get to know him more.."
