Hmm... I think what's bugging me the most is you sticking to Lunar's wonderful floorplan.
Kill the floorplan. Move those windows before I have to use force! And re-create the wrap-around porch!
I'm sure you had lots of fun, staring at trees o.o I perfer to hug them.

I agree that there should be more windows, but really, I don't think the smaller porch is /that/ horrible. I kinda like it, actually. I'm not sure which I like better, the wraparound porch or the little porch, though. And, because nothing is a better motivator to do artwork than putting off homework (and because I feel like showing off what I put off my homework to do), I give you the House's windows, take 2. I tried a couple different positionings of the shutters, just to see how they looked. So, whatcha think?

Ooooh, shmancy-fancy, are we?
Went from squiggly trees to high-tech pretty windows out of nowhere!
LUFF THEM, THOUGH. They cool.

Yay! Glad y'all like the windows. Mmkay, I have a few updates on how the picture's coming. Got all the angles figured out (I hope), and I've started on the texturing. (This doesn't mean it's too late to offer criticisms on the general design, of course. If you can see anything at all that can be improved, please say so!) I found a way to cheat the floorplan and put in an extra window; since the floorplan doesn't actually contain the second-floor-third-floor landing, there could, hypothetically, be a window there. So I put one there. Secondly, I think I may have improved the texture for the paneling. But you can decide for yourself.Thirdly, I've been looking at lots of houses that have shutters. So far, I have yet to see a single window with shutters any less than all the way open. However, the House is a bit special in that it has rather secretive residents. So they might want the shutters closed, regardless of how uncommon that might be. Or they might keep them open, in the interest of having the House look like a normal house. I don't know. So I drew it both ways, so that other people might decide for me. Fourthly, the towers. I don't know whether they should be paneled, or smooth. So again, I drew them both ways. I didn't finish the texturing, because I want to know one way or the other before I put too much effort into it. Because I'm lazy. So it's entirely possible that additional detail will make the panelled one look less like an earthworm, or the smooth one less bland-looking. If I'm not the only one who can't decide, I might just finish texturing both of them to see if they look any better with more detail. I might do that anyway; dunno. The House with open shutters and smooth towers. The House with some closed shutters and panelled towers.P.S. The 'T's on the ground are to mark where the trees are. I didn't want the chicken-wire-ness to distract me/get in my way. P.S.S. Any colors people want to see the House in will come after I've got everything else about the House worked out (unless the person says otherwise), so, until then, I'm just using the original colors.

Thanks, Zim. And sorry if I didn't make it all that clear; there are two options for the towers, and there are two options for the windows. These can be separate decisions. I just decided to roll the two sets of options into two pictures because it's more efficient. But you've got "open shutters vs. adjustable shutters" and "smooth towers vs. panelled towers." Anyway, I got bored and finished the texturing (or, more like, I had homework I needed to put off so I did pixel art instead). Updated piccies (with textured towers!): Open shutters and smooth towers VS. Adjustable shutters and panelled towers.

d**n, that's awesomeful.
And I prefer panelled towers. I don't see why they would make the towers any different. And...open shutters, I think. If people want privacy, they can use curtains or, heck, put a bunch of cardboard over the window. That way, outwardly, the House still looks Completely Normal No Freaks Here Nope Nope Nope.

I like the panels on the towers, too.
The "Adjustable shutters and panelled towers." looks really, really, really awesome!
I'm shocked.

Okay, so that's two votes for panelled, one vote for smooth, one vote for open shutters . . . Kitty and Zim, which kind of windows are you voting for? Yay more compliments! But save a few for when I finish, okay, guys? So, don't be too shocked just yet, Kitty.
